GNU PSPP is a program for statistical analysis of sampled data. It is a free as in freedom replacement for other proprietary programs, and appears very similar to it with a few exceptions. In my effort to bring low cost, powerful resources to our undergraduate and graduate students, I have used PSPP for statistical analysis.
PSPP is a free software application for analysis of sampled data, intended as a free alternative for IBM SPSS Statistics. It has a graphical user interface and conventional command-line interface. It is written in C and uses GNU Scientific Library for its mathematical routines.
I have created a PSPP User's Manual to support learning how to use PSPP for statistical analysis.
The manual is based on version 1.4 and has not been updated for any later versions.
The sample dataset is available here.
