Hello everyone. As we get started I wanted to share a little about myself with you. I received his B.S. degree from the College of Charleston and Ed.D in Teaching and Learning: Curriculum Design, from the University of California, San Diego in 2006. During my career I have taught in middle and secondary schools in both science and mathematics and have taught university computer education courses, secondary mathematics methods, and Introduction and Advanced Quantitive Methods.
Over the years I have presented workshops on the integration of technology and curriculum at numerous conferences, including the Greater San Diego Mathematics Conference, the San Diego Science Conference, the San Diego Computer Expo, the California Mathematics Council Conference (Southern Section), and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) National Conference.
I have also worked on several educational programs including UCSD's EarthRise project, the UC Science and Mathematics Initiative, NSF Noyce program projects, and the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary education (FIPSE) on Mathematics Education.
My research interests include the use of advanced technology to support secondary mathematics curriculum, the use of video analysis in teacher education, new teacher development, teacher professional growth, and technology enhanced instruction.
